The October Series are classic, dual
preamp channel, push-pull guitar amplifiers. The Bright and
Normal channels are internally jumpered, and both have dedicated volume
controls so that you can mix the individual channels for a wide variety
of tones.
The October Series also are equipped with a "Vintage/Modern" switch
that alters the preamp configuration. The Vintage position gives
the amp a late 60's - early 70's "looser and smoother" sound. The
Modern position gives the amp a late 70's - early 80's "brighter and
tighter" sound.
The October Series are available in Studio (2W), Club (20W), and Stage
(50W) versions.
The 4-4-0 Studio is a single channel,
touch-sensitive, amp perfectly suited to being used for lead guitar. This amp
sounds great whether you use humbuckers or single-coils. No matter
what style of music you play, whether its Country, Blues, or Rock, if
you want an agressive, distinctive lead tone, this is the amp for you.
This amp is a
2W amp designed for AX84 and is intended for home and studio use.
The power tube is a twin triode 6SN7GTB and is operating in true
push-pull delivering the same sort of tone that a much larger 20W or
50W amp would. Don't be decieved by it producing only 2W.
When used with an efficent speaker rated at 100 - 103dB, mounted in a
good cabinet, this amp can make your ears ring.

The Plexible Club is a 17W, single channel, all octal, push-pull 6V6 based amp that
has a sound which is very similar to Plexi type amps. This amp has a
unique preamp designed by Iain Williams using 6SL7 tubes instead of the
more usual noval based 12A*7 series tubes. The controls are very
simple, yet very powerful. There are interactive Bright and Dark
controls that work very similar to the October's Bright and Dark
channels. These allow you to to dial in, with a finer degree of
control, the exact amount fo treble and bass you desire. The Tone
control allows you to sculpt the mix even more to suit your taste.
Finally, there is a Gain control that operates somewhat like a master
volume, but it has another gain stage following it, so it allows you to
better control the amount of distortion generated. This, like the
Comanchero above is a non-master volume amp.

The
Comanchero
is a versitile 15W, single channel, push-pull EL84 based amp that
has a sound all it's own. Iain Williams went to great lengths
designing the preamp with effective, low loss tone controls.
These controls are very powerful. The Comanchero is a non-master
volume amp just like the Plexible. The
poweramp has encorporated many features to warm up and smooth out the
tone of the EL84's. This amp does not sound like other amps that
use the same tubes as it does. It has a very powerful voice and
cuts through the mix very well. It is sutiable for use in small
clubs and even larger venues when mic'ed up.
