new custom Heyboer iron. Options for a second output tube and an
FX Loop are also available.

New Custom
Studio Transformer Sets All Studio kits are now shipping with
custom Heyboer Iron for no additional cost.
The new power transformer is designed for 120V mains and has a
secondary output of 275-0-275 @ 65mA. The output voltage was
increased to supply the higher B+ levels needed by designs such as the
Lead II preamp. The current capacity of the filament winding is
3.5A and has a center tap. It's no longer necessary to create a
virtual center tap, and more preamp stages, tube FX Loops, tube
reverbs, etc. can accomodated.
The output transformer now has 23K and 11.5K primary taps so that two
dual triodes can be used in the amp. The core material has been
changed for better, and tighter bass response for the new high-gain
builds.
The new custom choke was designed for the utmost in filtering
preformance and can be used, in the Studio builds in either a
choke-input or capacitor input design. It can also be used in
bigger power amps (20W and above), as long as B+ levels are not greater
than 500V and the current demand is 65mA or less.
